Local groups report on outreach, 100‑year celebration and library plans

Joanne Maynard, representing local landowners, said community engagement has been active and that the Mount Plymouth community is organizing a 100‑year celebration; Maynard said the Eastlake Historical Society recently elected new officers and the Landowners League is coordinating with the library volunteers on temporary library planning.

The Eastlake Chamber reported a successful 40th gala and upcoming community events, and staff said it will continue outreach and provide materials about grant programs for business facade improvements. Committee members asked staff to resume more frequent outreach meetings in neighborhood locations to gather resident input.
