Committee plans mill-and-fill blacktop repairs for 2026-27

John Ely told the facilities committee that previously filled blacktop cracks have widened and are now too large for traditional fill methods. He and Carol Jones said they are arranging for a contractor to remove prior patches, mill the surface and refill it to prevent further deterioration ahead of the 2026–2027 school year.

The work was discussed as part of capital planning for the coming year; committee members did not record a formal vote, but the item was slated for further contracting discussions.
