Commissioners endorse Clean Ohio funds for Silkwood Outdoors acquisition along Allen Creek Corridor

The board approved a resolution expressing support for use of Clean Ohio funds by the Appalachia Ohio Alliance for acquisition of the Silkwood Outdoors property and easements in the Allen Creek Corridor. Clerk read the resolution text and roll call votes were recorded as yes from the commissioners.

The measure was presented as a conservation effort to protect the Allen Creek corridor; both the board and the development authority indicated support and staff said letters of support were exchanged. No expenditure by the county was recorded in the motion; the resolution affirms the county's endorsement of the Alliance's application.
