Watonga Board appoints Quinton McGuire as clerk and updates bank signatories

The Watonga Board of Education appointed Quinton McGuire as Clerk of the Board of Education on Sept. 14 after a motion by Aaron Clewell and a second from Dwight McGee; the motion passed unanimously. The board then moved to remove Courtney Robison from all school accounts at Bank 7 and add Quinton McGuire as the new Board Clerk on the Treasury and Draft accounts; that change also passed 5-0.

Separately, the board designated First State Bank as an additional depository for the district and authorized establishment of district deposit and/or investment accounts. The board named Board President Mayra Flynn, Board Clerk Quinton McGuire and Treasurer Andrea Parker as authorized signatories for such accounts and authorized execution of necessary banking, security and collateralization documents in accordance with applicable law; the motion carried 5-0.
