Chaplain and bishop lead prayers at Sebastian 9/11 remembrance

Rebecca Fortuna, chaplain for American Legion Post 189 and member of the Sebastian Area Honor Guard, led a prayer of remembrance asking for consolation for families and healing for those still affected by the Sept. 11 attacks. She prayed that God would "continue to console them in the hope that all who trust in you will find peace and rest in your eternal kingdom."

Later in the program Bishop Sylvester McIntosh delivered the benediction, asking that attendees "be united, walk in your love, and give us traveling mercies to reach our destination to our home." The congregation responded with "Amen."
