Finance Committee forwards FY2027 preliminary budget to full board pending levy amount

At its Sept. 11, 2026 meeting the Ford County Finance Committee discussed the FY2027 preliminary budget and voted to forward the proposed budget to the full County Board to lie for the required public-notice period. The minutes state that budget numbers have not changed since the last meeting and that the committee is awaiting a levy amount from the Public Building Commission; the committee noted the budget may require amendment when that levy figure is received.

The motion to send the budget to the County Board was made by Mr. Carson Vaughn and seconded by Mr. Gene May; Chair Sarah Mussman moved to permit the budget to lie for the required period and the committee approved the motion by roll call (unanimous). The minutes do not list line-item changes or total dollar amounts for the FY2027 draft budget.
