Committee sends FY2027 levy item to County Board; IMRF included this year

The committee moved to discuss possible action on the FY2027 levy and ultimately voted to send the levy item to the full County Board for consideration. The minutes state levy numbers were unchanged from the prior meeting but note that this year the levy will include an Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) amount that had not been included last year.

Committee members noted a truth-in-taxation meeting is scheduled if necessary. The motion was made by Carson Vaughn and seconded by Gene May; the roll call vote was unanimous.
