At the Sept. 15 Town Board meeting the board took a mix of procedural and substantive actions. The board continued consideration of the Port Washington Public Parking District local law to Oct. 13, continued an ordinance affecting Landrum Road without a date at the applicant's request, and postponed a proposed Verizon cable franchise agreement (continuance dates discussed included Oct. 13 and Nov. 10).
Substantive actions adopted during the meeting included two honorary street namings (Logan Coyle Court on Essex Court and NYPD Detective Alfred Bosch Way on Westminster Road), adoption of a special permit to redevelop 901 Hillside Ave (BOLA/Exxon), and adoption of an ordinance restricting heavy trucks on IU Willits Road. Board votes on adopted items were recorded as unanimous 'aye' votes on the record.
The board adjourned following roll-call votes to close the session.
