A finance presenter previewed several fiscal items: approval of revised city fees (tournament fees increasing from $5,000 to $5,500), a bond resolution to issue up to $322,082 in serial bonds to finance a replacement tandem dump truck (15-year term, repayment beginning on vehicle delivery), contingency spending of $34,313 for HVAC repairs at the police department, and budget amendments totaling $149,000 to replenish DPW sand and salt lines using unassigned fund balance.
The presenter said some items use unassigned fund balance and will therefore require a roll-call vote at the next meeting. Council members agreed to schedule roll-call votes for items identified as 14-3 and 14-5.
"This is to do a bond resolution that's saying that to issue up to $322,082 in serial bonds to finance the purchase of the replacement dump truck," the Council member said.
