Public works items include settlement with National Bridal, land-service addenda and Clinton Street change order

The public works director presented multiple items: authorization to accept a settlement agreement from National Bridal, mayoral signature authority for Grassy Grove addendum No. 3, and an addendum with Withdrawal Realty for commercial real estate services related to BOCES land (including payment for appraisals and engineering fees). The director said a previously-voted contract had not been executed and paperwork must now be completed.

The director also withdrew a late grant application that arrived too close to the deadline and asked the council to authorize a change order with J & K Trucking & Excavating for the Clinton Street water-distribution pipe replacement (phase 3). The director described the change order as a standard project amendment to continue work on the street project.

"Item number 5 is discussion of both authorization for mayor to sign change order with J and K Trucking and Excavating for water distribution pipe replacement project phase 3," Public works director said.
