Council reviewed proposed stipulation in Jagoda case, asked staff for follow-up

At the start of the meeting staff summarized the outcome of an executive session involving the litigation Jagoda v. City of Saratoga Springs. The council had reviewed a proposed stipulation from the city's insurance counsel; staff said the counsel raised a couple of minor points that staff will investigate and then report back to the council.

Staff indicated that after the follow-up work is complete the council anticipates finalizing approval of the stipulation. No further detail on the substance of the lawsuit or the stipulation's terms was disclosed in the public portion of the meeting.

"Following an executive session in the matter of Jagoda versus City of Saratoga Springs, the council has reviewed a proposed stipulation from our insurance council," Staff member said.
