DEI Committee reviews expiring terms and plans outreach to fill upcoming vacancies

Committee members reviewed how terms and appointments work for volunteer seats: a replacement appointed into a vacated seat serves only the remainder of that seat's term, and reappointment requires following the mayor's office process. The chair reminded members that two departures are imminent and encouraged outreach to prior applicants and community networks to identify candidates.
