The magistrate found violations at two properties: Vermont LLC's property at 3320 Lincoln Street (exterior walls, roof and drainage issues) and Robert and Mary Campbell's property for unpermitted RV hookups and related unpermitted construction.
Code enforcement officer Katina Hill presented inspection photos for Vermont LLC showing roof and soffit damage, recurring deficiencies across follow-up inspections, and no owner contact; Hill recommended 15 days to comply or a $500-per-day fine. The magistrate ordered the property brought into compliance by Sept. 25, 2026, or face fines.
In case 25652, code enforcement officer Chris Smith testified that Robert and Mary Campbell installed multiple unpermitted RV hookups, spliced electrical outlets and a septic/water tank beyond a single permitted RV hookup; he said the county is still finalizing an RV ordinance to better address such situations. Smith recommended 30 days to comply or a $250 daily fine; the magistrate ordered compliance by Oct. 9, 2026, and warned that a fine would be imposed if work was not done on time.
Both officers submitted digital case files and photographs into evidence and requested the county be notified of any transfer of ownership to ensure new owners are aware of unresolved violations.
