The board closed the session by confirming an immediate schedule of follow-up meetings and items. Ben Cobert said the zoning commission will meet in a special work session on Sept. 22 at NICC (6:00 p.m.) to review drafts. The board's next data center meeting was set for Sept. 28 and will include emergency management, the sheriff and potentially public health staff; Oct. 12 will feature conservation with Brian Preston; and a Nov. 12 evening town hall (joint with the Board of Health) will address air pollution.
Staff and supervisors agreed to provide updates into the packets as available and to return with requested cost estimates for monitoring wells by Sept. 28. The chair noted the board could extend the moratorium if necessary to allow time for monitoring and drafting work but made no motion to do so at this meeting.
