A presenter recapped an accomplished year for district extracurriculars: girls' basketball reached the state Final Four, boys' bowling finished as state runner-up, softball and baseball reached the state tournament and middle-school archery placed first in state competitions.
The district added tennis for grades 4'6, volleyball, a bass-fishing team and launched an esports program that has already participated in state-level tournaments. The presenter said the additions aim to broaden student engagement beyond traditional athletics.
