A Tecton presenter told the committee the team submitted 100% construction documents to the city and walked members through the 108-sheet drawing set and three volumes of specifications, noting code analysis, life-safety provisions, stormwater and grading, and structural brace-frame work appropriate for a public-safety facility. "We submitted, last last week, a 100% construction documents, to the city," the presenter said, and explained the drawings and specifications are complimentary: drawings show where components go and the specifications describe what products are to be used.
The presenter identified two bid alternates — a rooftop screen for mechanical equipment and a south-facing trellis — described them as "nice to haves" rather than mission critical, and said independent pricing will be provided to bidders. Committee members pressed on paving limits, shared-drive responsibilities and equipment ownership; the presenter and staff said the project will only repave areas under the project’s exclusive use and that utilities coordination (including a pending water-main replacement) is ongoing.
