A developer representative updated the board on revisions to a larger project and asked for a continuance while neighbors and the design team refine details.
The applicant's representative said recent meetings with neighbors have led to substantive changes: elimination of some independent units, a 150-foot buffer around the project, and additional architectural acoustic features to soften noise. "You'll see the 150 foot buffer all around," the representative said, and indicated the project team expects an upcoming support letter from the Board of Selectmen once revisions are finalized.
Board members welcomed the additional outreach and asked for elevation drawings showing views from Flint Road and Upton Road. The board granted a continuance to October 8 so the applicant can return with revised plans and documentation of neighbor engagement.
