G&G Consulting has provided the Town of Pembroke with a proposal to update the Comprehensive Plan at a cost of $15,000, and the board agreed to review the proposal and discuss it at the next meeting.
Supervisor Thomas Schneider also reported he has a scheduled call with a company conducting a study of county-wide code enforcement; he said he doubts a uniform county approach will work because of zoning differences across the county's 13 towns. The board discussed administrative items including New York State guidance on switching to .gov email and website addresses and upcoming harassment training led by Councilwoman Kathleen Manne. The town did not receive an NYS Archives scanning grant, but Supervisor Schneider said he will include purchase of scanning software in the proposed 2027 budget so records digitization can proceed.
The minutes do not include a vote related to the comprehensive plan proposal; the board will consider the written proposal at its next regular meeting before taking action.
