The board approved multiple technology and support contract renewals during the Sept. 10 session. Technology Services and procurement staff said the Esri ArcGIS maintenance renewal ($175,000) supports county mapping and the MyCarroll County public-facing application; a Skyline Technology Solutions renewal of $236,616.48 will continue CCPN operations and network monitoring across partner systems; Skyline also received a renewal for fiber marking and locating services ($85,191.84); and Exela's land-management support renewal is for $283,272.70.
"Esri is the provider of our our GIS, software, ArcGIS. It's used widely throughout the county for mapping and analytics, as well as on the web for our public facing application, like the MyCarroll County app," a Technology Services representative said. Procurement staff confirmed all renewal amounts are approved in the FY27 adopted budget and the board voted to renew each contract unanimously.
