Municipal Arts Commission welcomes new member Javier Contreras

Marissa Bowen, chair of the Municipal Arts Commission, called the September meeting to order and asked the director of development to introduce a new member. "My name is Marissa Bowen. I'm the chair of this commission," Bowen said as she opened the session.

Kevin Jimenez introduced the new member, saying, "His name is Javier Contreras. Welcome." The commission welcomed Contreras and then proceeded to hear adjourned cases and applications on the agenda. No formal personnel action was taken; the announcement served to note the membership change for the commission's public record.

The introduction occurred at the start of the meeting and was followed immediately by business on adjourned signage and awning applications. The commission did not take any votes related to membership at this meeting.
