County MWBE official urges registration at Woz Mark ceremony

Martha Lopez, introduced during the opening, used her time to encourage minority- and women-owned business registration with Westchester County so the store could access contracting opportunities. "On behalf of the county executive who believes very much in minority and women owned businesses, we need you to register with us so that you can get contracts," Lopez said.

Lopez said she was proud to see the business in District 1 and that county staff are available to assist. Her remarks focused on outreach and practical registration steps rather than announcing new county programs or funds.
