Harwood council approves first reading of solicitation ordinance

At the Sept. 9 meeting the council held a first reading of a Solicitation Ordinance and voted to approve it on first reading. "Motion to approve the first reading of the ordinance by Fix, seconded by Nettum. All in favor voted aye; motion carried," the minutes state.

The first-reading approval means the ordinance will return to the council for subsequent readings or additional procedural steps required by city code. No public comment or proposed amendments were recorded in the minutes.
