Deputy Planning Director Kelly O'Brien used the commission's Sept. 9 meeting to preview several items headed to council and to the planning commission.
O'Brien said the Green Hedges application had a council work session and that the public hearing is scheduled for Sept. 28. She reported council work sessions on wireless regulations and on outdoor lighting are scheduled for Sept. 21; pending referral from council (anticipated Sept. 26), the planning commission would likely review zoning amendments in early November with potential continued work into December. "The comprehensive plan did get kicked again," O'Brien said, adding that staff expects several zoning amendments to come through and that November's planning commission meeting will be held on a Tuesday because of Veterans Day scheduling.
O'Brien also noted staff had no items on the Sept. 23 meeting and previewed a parking modification request for an October agenda. She said staff would prepare memos and materials for the commission and that the town attorney would be consulted on timing questions related to code review cycles.
