The Winchester Selectboard on Sept. 2 approved a string of routine financial requests and transfers during its regular meeting.
The board approved the minutes from Aug. 26 (motion by Selectman Herbert Stephens; second Jack Marsh; motion carries 5-0). Selectmen then approved a request for $11,495 to replace a sewer submersible pump (motion by Selectman Marsh, second Stephens; motion carries 5-0). The board approved transfers from the Police Outside Activities Fund that included $27,143.54 for July/August and $75,282.14 for June reimbursements for details; Finance Supervisor Amy Bond confirmed the payments included funds from Blue Roc.
Selectman Marsh moved an internal transfer of $8,820.44 from Ambulance Billing to Ambulance Payroll; the motion carried 5-0. The board also approved a $40,220.40 withdrawal from the Town Beach Fund to Bull Dog Masonry for wall repairs; Amy Bond said the fund will retain about $85,000 after that withdrawal.
Minutes indicate motions were made and approved by recorded roll calls (where stated) or unanimous voice votes; specific accounting and invoice backup were reviewed by Finance.
