The health officer told the Montgomery Township Board of Health that the Performance Management/Quality Improvement (PMQI) subcommittee is restructuring how information comes to the board so members can better assess trends, workload, outcomes and compliance with state law. "Our goal is to to better show trends, workload, outcomes, emerging issues, and areas that may require board attention," the health officer said.
She said the subcommittee is also reviewing the health department website for accuracy and accessibility and coordinating with other municipal pages (for example senior services and parks and recreation) so residents can more easily find services. The officer asked board members to promote the Plan for Health survey and listening sessions and noted students in a youth leadership council are assisting with outreach and data collection for those efforts.
