Geneseo board approves consent agenda, minutes and personnel items; acknowledges departing staffer

The Geneseo Central School District Board of Education approved its consent agenda on Aug. 3, including the regular meeting agenda for Aug. 3 and the board minutes from July 6, 2026. Committee member (speaker 2) moved the consent motions; the motions were seconded and Chair (speaker 1) called the voice votes, which passed.

Chair (speaker 1) publicly thanked Sarah Wilcox, who was noted as participating online, for her service to the district and said she will be missed. Committee member (speaker 2) asked the board to approve personnel items listed as 8.02 through 8.33; the board approved those personnel items. The meeting later moved into executive session at 7:20 p.m. to discuss a personnel matter involving appointment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular person.
