The Hillsdale Hamlet Committee recorded on Sept. 5 that it will support whatever the Hamlet’s businesses arrange for Pumpkin Fest rather than lead the event. The notes show the committee’s position is to offer assistance to business-led planning efforts.
Committee Chair Shannon Bell and members did not specify the form of support in the notes; the level of assistance (volunteer staffing, funding, or promotion) was left for future coordination with local businesses. The committee will follow up as needed in subsequent meetings.
