The Irvine Unified School District Board approved several facilities items Sept. 9, including Resolution Nos. 25-26-12 through 25-26-15 authorizing environmental documents and project approvals for Measure Series 4 building expansions and renovations at Sierra Vista Middle School, College Park Elementary School, Lakeside Middle School, and Northwood High School. The Board also approved notices of completion for Irvine High School and University High School stadium field and turf replacement projects and authorized bid awards and change orders for Creekside Education Center IT Villa and Portola High School expansion Phase 2.
The consent items were adopted as part of the Facilities Consent Calendar and related resolution roll-call votes; renewals for the Measure E Independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee and certificates of authorized signers for multiple Community Facilities Districts were also approved. Motions were made and passed unanimously, and the agenda materials indicate Measure E reimbursements are reserved in County School Facilities funds for future improvements and maintenance.
