City staff presented several land‑use and development items and recommended approval. The council approved a real estate purchase agreement with Hillsview Homes for eight additional Sky Ridge lots, a resolution to transfer property to the Spearfish Economic Development Corporation, and development and dedication agreements for the Nadeffi Way commercial project and Centennial Mountain Phase 2.
Kyle explained the Nadeffi Way commercial development required relocating a city water main and an upsizing reimbursement of about $44,000; he said the developer agreed to relocate the water main into the public right‑of‑way and that the city will provide reimbursement for the upsized infrastructure. On Centennial Mountain Phase 2 staff noted sidewalk upsizing to meet draft design standards (10‑foot plus an additional 6 feet) with the city paying the additional portion now and future sections to be borne by developers per agreement.
Council approved these items after presentations and brief Q&A with staff and the developer; motions and votes were taken on each item.
