Students plan pharmacy‑tech and other career paths through Lincoln Park dual‑enrollment

One student said a field trip in sophomore year introduced them to the pharmacy‑technician program and that, during the second semester, they plan to enroll at Lake Technical College to pursue that training. "So by the time this school year ends, I plan to get a job as a pharmacy technician," the student said.

Other students and the Lake Tech faculty member described career‑focused pathways such as HVAC, electricity and phlebotomy that are accessible through dual enrollment, framing Lincoln Park as a route both to graduation and to immediate entry into technical jobs. Students noted counselor assistance and one‑on‑one teacher support as factors that helped them identify and enroll in these programs.
