The Borough of Wildwood Crest adopted a package of routine resolutions and contract actions spanning professional services, small purchases and program agreements.
Council approved a professional services contract with the Lomax Group for specialized engineering and environmental consulting for the Green Team Community Forestry Management Plan (hazard tree assessment) at a not-to-exceed amount of $24,000. The clerk recorded the motion and it passed by roll call. "At the not to exceed sum of 24,000," the clerk read when introducing the Lomax Group item.
Other adopted items included authorization to purchase a Connect Cutter and Connect Ram Kit for the fire department under the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing program; a $125 refund to Jessica Presco for a firefighters weekend craft fee; a $1,225 service agreement with Healthy Measures to provide a smoothie station for employees using wellness incentive funds; authorization to apply for NJDOT municipal aid for Stockton Road reconstruction (FY2025); a licensing agreement with Wildwood Catholic Academy for use of the Joseph von Savage pool for the 2026–2027 swim season; and an increase of $35,000 to Star Septic LLC for portable toilet service. These motions were moved, seconded and adopted by roll call as recorded in the clerk's announcements.
