Rosemary Plyben reported that city leaders joined Affordable Housing Management Inc. and Greensboro Urban Ministry to celebrate the completion of Oakwood Park, a 16-unit permanent supportive housing complex serving people transitioning out of homelessness.
"The 16 unit permanent supportive housing apartment complex will house individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness," Plyben said. She reported residents will receive supportive case management from Greensboro Urban Ministries and enjoy community amenities. The segment named financing partners as Affordable Housing Management Inc., the city of Greensboro, and the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency and gave a project cost of $4,300,000.
Officials did not provide a breakdown of the $4.3 million financing in the segment; the broadcast listed the partners but did not specify which grants, loans, or local allocations covered the total cost.
