Stephanie Ehrlich told BronxNet the Van Cortlandt Park Alliance will run its annual free movie series on Friday nights beginning Sept. 11, with a family-oriented "4-Legged Friends" theme. Titles announced include Babe, Best in Show, Ratatouille and Paddington 2; the Alliance said programming will include pre-movie DJ sets and themed crafts.
Ehrlich also described a calendar of wellness and nature programs, volunteer opportunities and nature walks, and encouraged listeners to sign up at vancortland.org. "We've got all kinds of wellness and nature programs happening," she said, and she noted additional events such as an Irish–Ghanaian fusion music night on Sept. 19.
The Alliance urged residents to consult its website for schedules, volunteer sign-ups and event updates.
