Michael Lowe, of DHHL’s Information and Community Relations Office, said the department is proceeding with the scheduled residential project lease awards for Kauai on Saturday the 12th and that scheduling constraints prevented a live community meeting beforehand. "...residential project lease awards for Kauai scheduled for Saturday, the 12th," he said.
Lowe tied the timing of the lease awards to the decision to provide prerecorded materials so applicants and residents could still receive briefings and updates. The department directed viewers to the posted videos for details related to planning, land development and Kauai water matters ahead of the awards.
