At its Sept. 2 meeting, Delaware County Council approved a set of routine and substantive items on the consent agenda and separately took a few notable actions.
Key outcomes: council approved the minutes of the Aug. 19 regular meeting; accepted a counter-unmanned-aircraft (C-UAS) grant award not to exceed $1,445,000 (subject to solicitor review and policy commitments); approved a one-time $25,000 Interactive Gaming Revenue Authority grant to the Delaware County Bar Foundation; and appointed Andrea White and Nancy McCormick to the Drug and Alcohol Planning Council for three-year terms ending Aug. 31, 2029.
The controller's office presented payments totaling $14,784,000.74 for acknowledgment; council approved the report. Solicitor Aubrey presented consents for adoption (seven petitions for termination and three consents for adoption) for the Orphans Court and the council approved those motions.
Several consent-agenda items were removed for separate consideration as noted in the meeting minutes; the remaining consent items (8A–8R, with exceptions noted in the record) were approved. The meeting adjourned following council remarks.
