Following a supervisor resignation, HHS consolidated oversight across child-protective services and youth-justice functions, shifting existing staff rather than immediately hiring a new supervisor. "So ultimately, what we've decided to do was, season had capacity to be able to add more hours. And so she has agreed to have the y j, world under her," Julia said, explaining the reorganization.
Julia said Tysa Marlowe will serve as lead worker in CPS, Melinda Hoyos will lead youth-justice and truancy/diversion work, and Mike Nugent — previously contracted through a local day-treatment center — will begin as the new truancy and diversion worker in mid-September. Staff said Nugent already has rapport with program youth, and that a fuller staffing-and-placement report will be provided in October.
