Board members urged to follow HB 2704 fact sheet for bill payments

Andrew (the treasurer) urged board members to read the HB 2704 fact sheet and follow its provisions for approving and paying bills; he said the fact sheet provides ground rules for how bills should be processed. "I would encourage everybody to read the fact sheet that was put together for HB 2704," Andrew said, noting it contained a concise summary easier than the full bill text.

Members agreed that staff would re-circulate the bill summary and fact sheet. The board indicated they would address particular procedural questions in a later session and that Mark and Andrew would review the bill text together to ensure compliance with the payment process described in the legislation.
