Sheriff reports equipment work and training approval for staff

Sheriff Alan Benninga updated the Board on department maintenance and training matters. He said he authorized the Rescue Squad to purchase two new batteries for the large rescue truck and reported that recently installed shower pans cost more than the department estimated; a welder and plumber were on site for two days to complete work.

The Board also signed and approved an event approval for a Sheriff Department employee to attend training in Salina, Kansas. The minutes do not record the employee's name or the training provider.
