Monte Sereno Youth Commission selects Stella as vice chair

The Monte Sereno Youth Commission on Aug. 11 nominated and approved leadership for the 2026–27 term, selecting Stella as vice chair and confirming that the commission will also identify a secretary to support meetings.

Staff described officer duties in a report to commissioners, saying the chair presides over meetings and the vice chair assumes the chair’s duties when the chair is absent. On the floor, Chair moved the nomination; after a second the commission approved the appointment by voice vote. Chair noted, "Stella volunteered," confirming the nominee's willingness to serve. The selected officers will serve through the remainder of the current youth commission term unless the commission or city council decides otherwise.
