Space Beauty Spa reopens on North Avenue; Mayor Ramos Herbert praises business retention

Space Beauty Spa celebrated its relocation to North Avenue in New Rochelle at a ribbon‑cutting hosted by the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce.

Catherine White, executive director of the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce, opened the ceremony and welcomed attendees. "It's a great day in New Rochelle as we welcome everyone to the newly relocated Space Beauty Spa on North Avenue," she said, noting the new location offers ample street and public‑garage parking.

Mayor Yadira Ramos Herbert thanked owner Elizabeth for choosing to remain in the city after operating on Main Street. "We are so grateful that you chose New Rochelle," the mayor said, praising developer Bob Young for helping keep the business in the community.

Elizabeth, the owner of Space Beauty Spa, thanked family, clients and her team for support through a difficult relocation. "I just wanna say thanks God, my family, my loyalty clients, and no less important my team," she said, and singled out developer partners Bob and Connor for assistance during the move.

The ceremony also included presentations from county and local business representatives and a Chamber certificate. The event emphasized local business retention and the continued growth of the North Avenue commercial corridor.
