Consultants to refine forecasts and draft economic goals; CAC to review revised materials

At the meeting’s close, the consulting team described near-term deliverables and outreach steps. Bridal Buckley said the consultants will finalize the BLI, incorporate community input into an adjusted job forecast, and prepare a draft of economic-vision statements for CAC feedback.

“I will try to, summarize these things that we've heard into the start of, economic development vision statement or set of goals,” Buckley said, noting a revised draft would be circulated for comment and that the team would schedule a follow-up meeting within weeks. The consultants emphasized they will present more detailed sections in the next draft and asked CAC members to provide feedback on the draft vision and goals once circulated.

Staff closed the meeting by thanking chamber attendees and councilors in the room and said members should expect notice of the next session by email.
