Caddo Parish honors longtime audiovisual staff Tom Fannin and Charles McClure on retirement

The commission read and approved a resolution that commemorated the decades of service of audiovisual technicians Tom Fannin and Charles McClure, who are retiring from the facilities and maintenance department. The resolution praised their role in adapting meeting technology across formats and thanked them for increasing transparency and public access by maintaining broadcasts and recordings.

Both retirees spoke briefly about their years of service; colleagues and commissioners thanked them for making meetings accessible and noted their long institutional memory. Administration and commissioners offered congratulatory remarks and said they would remain available to the parish in retirement.
