Staff debate showing live votes as VoteCastWeb previews real-time tallies

Trainer demonstrated the "show live votes" and "show live tally" settings that present member votes and running tallies in real time on the public display. The presenter warned that those features can reveal how individual members are voting before a vote is recorded and that many clients choose to uncheck them to avoid persuasion.

Meeting participants agreed on privacy concerns. One attendee urged caution: "Yvette, never ever close out of a tab during a meeting," reflecting attention to operational discipline; others suggested the clerk uncheck live-vote display so members are not swayed while votes are in progress. The trainer confirmed those settings are per-meeting options in Media Manager.
