Board members praise center programs, call it a "home away from home"

Multiple board members took a moment to praise the center and its staff following the director's report. Board member Swartz said events such as the center's themed days are "always a good time to come and visit," and Board member Simone told the director, "You run a wonderful facility. I know the residents say that it's their home away from home."

Other members echoed thanks to staff and volunteers and noted they receive no complaints from the center's constituents. The chair closed the remarks and adjourned the meeting; no additional action items followed the board comments.
