Board of Adjustment elects Bandimere Jordan chair, McAfee chosen vice chair

The Castle Rock Board of Adjustment elected Bandimere Jordan as chair and McAfee as vice chair for the 2026–2027 term during its meeting on Sept. 3, 2026. Both leadership nominations were approved by roll-call votes of 5-0.

Board members presented nominations and completed the votes before moving on to the evening’s public hearing agenda. The chair nomination passed after a second was called and a formal roll-call vote; the vice-chair nomination was handled similarly after a member nominated themself and the board approved the nomination 5-0.

The meeting record contains multiple variant spellings of the chair’s name as spoken during roll call and nomination statements; the board recorded the same individual as elected. The board then opened two zoning public hearings and approved variances on both items later in the meeting.
