Director orders native production and narrower redactions for U Pack email; directs additional searches

Ms. Carver challenged blacked‑out passages in an April 15 response that the school provided to U Pack (UPAC). She said the redactions obscured whether the withheld text contained information about her or other matters and requested an in‑camera review. "Portions were completely blacked out," she told the director, asking that the DGO determine whether some withheld material could be segregated and released.

Success Academy's counsel said the redactions covered evaluative information about another employee and that material concerning Ms. Carver had already been provided. The director reviewed the in‑camera materials and ordered the school to provide the full email in its native form with the redactions already identified in the prior production preserved, to produce any additional responsive U Pack communications, and to perform an IT search for any other records submitted to U Pack concerning either of Ms. Carver's complaints.
