The Yamhill County Board of Commissioners approved a package of contracts and intergovernmental agreements Sept. 3 during the regular meeting.
The board approved a contract with Jeff Clevenger to perform building, plumbing and mechanical inspections at $75 per hour, effective Sept. 1, 2026 through Sept. 1, 2028. It also approved amendment No. 2 to an agreement between Yamhill County Behavioral Health and the Oregon Health Authority (board order 25‑241) to add federal terms and a catalog of federal domestic assistance numbers, effective upon execution through June 30, 2027.
Other approved items included a memorandum of understanding with Sheridan School District 48J for use of property in a declared emergency, retroactive participation by the Willamette Education Service District on the Yamhill‑Polk behavioral safety assessment team (effective 08/14/2026), and an intergovernmental agreement with Multnomah County for juvenile detention bed rentals (fewer than four beds at $495 per day; four or more beds at $225 per bed per day) retroactive to Aug. 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 with an automatic renewal clause.
