Board approves minutes, discusses recognizing departing volunteers

Toward the end of the meeting Speaker 1 moved to approve the minutes from 08/04/2026; the motion was seconded and members present indicated approval. The procedural vote closed that portion of the agenda and the board moved on to remaining items.

Before the vote, members considered ways to acknowledge departing volunteers Damon and David for their service; suggestions included modest gift cards, certificates, or upcycled apparel patches rather than mass-produced new T-shirts.
