Reliable Excavating to perform Stone Street sidewalk replacement for $99,594.15

The Board of Awards approved awarding Stone Street sidewalk replacement services to Reliable Excavating Co., Inc. Reliable Excavating submitted a proposal dated Aug. 31, 2026, to perform the work for a total of $99,594.15 under the company's existing on-call sidewalk services bid with the City of Danbury. Superintendent of Construction Services T. Hughes moved to award the work; Director of Finance D. Garrick seconded and the motion carried unanimously.

Purchasing Agent Charles J. Volpe told the Board the cost will be charged to account #3600-CP2627BND-00043-4306-0000-000000-574000-05860. The approval follows procurement procedures tied to the City's on-call contract; the Board recorded no objections in the minutes.
