Council swears in communications lead, reparations aide and legislative hearing officer

The council adopted a resolution appointing three council staff members and conducted a formal swearing-in during the meeting.

Resolution 26-1492 appointed Corinne Dennis as communications lead, Reggie Evans as reparations legislative aide and Joanna Zimnick as legislative hearing officer. Each of the three took the oath of office on the council dais; the clerk led the oath as the appointees repeated it. Council members welcomed the appointees and the resolution passed 7–0.

Council members praised the new staff'ers for their immediate contributions to council communications and legislative work. Mr. Wilms and other council members noted the significant workload new employees often face on day one and welcomed the appointments formally.
